China National Petroleum Group held a special meeting to promote management improvement actions against the world’s best and insisted on the goal to lead the battle to win the reform and attack

On December 7, the Group held a video meeting on the promotion of management improvement actions against world-class standards and the monthly meeting on the three-year reform action of the Group. The meeting emphasized that we should thoroughly implement the relevant deployment of SASAC of the State Council, seize the opportunity and build on the momentum in accordance with the requirements of the Party Group of the Group, and firmly grasp the three-year reform action to provide strong impetus for the Group to advance high-quality development and build a world-class enterprise with everlasting foundation.

The meeting pointed out that the Group adhered to the goal-led and problem-oriented approach, focused closely on the key improvement areas, took the difficult and painful management points that needed to be solved as breakthroughs, and made every effort to promote the implementation of 36 management improvement tasks, taking important steps in optimizing the control model, improving the operation mechanism, sorting out business processes, promoting the construction of the “oil company” model, improving the customer service and marketing management system, accelerating the digital transformation and intelligent development, and promoting the effective improvement of management capacity and management level.

Jiang Lifu, assistant general manager of the Group, pointed out at the meeting that it is necessary to strengthen the coordination and promotion of implementation to fully complete the target tasks. Improve the level of basic management, take process optimization as the main line of management improvement and management transformation grasp, and focus on building a solid foundation for development. Enhance the level of lean management, and effectively improve efficiency. Enhance the level of demonstration and leadership, create benchmarks and promote experience, and give full play to the driving effect. Establish a sound long-term mechanism to continuously promote management improvement. Grasp the promotion and implementation of the three-year reform action, with assessment and evaluation as a strong grip and important traction, to ensure the implementation of reform tasks on the ground.

At the meeting, the Legal and Enterprise Reform Department briefed the implementation of the three-year reform action of the Group, and four units, namely, Daqing Oilfield, Oriental Physical Exploration, CNOOC International and Kunlun Digital Intelligence, made experience exchange speeches. Comrades in charge of headquarters departments, discipline inspection and supervision groups, professional companies and units participated in the main and sub-court.
